Goya Serial List and manufacture dates

Hi everyone, I haven't read all the posts, but most of you seem to have the same question: how old is my guitar?
For your information, I came across a really helpful page that you should all look at for information. It seems to be quite accurate.
Some guy on ebay was selling his guitar and he said it was about 40 years old and I looked it up for him and it turns our it's from 1938...big difference in selling price!

Goya GA 350

How much is this guitar worth?

Re: Goya GA 350

: How much is this guitar worth?

A Martin Goya G350 in good original condition could bring $200 to $300 based on eBay prices. The
value of anything is what someone is willing to pay for it. For more information on Goya guitars

The G-17 was an early 60's model preoduced in Sweden which originally listed for about 195.00 I owned one then and I still own one, but my current one needs repair. There is a ton of info available about Goys in Geneal and some on the G-17 at Goyaguitars.com

Goya Model #?

I have an old Goya nylon string classical which I acquired without the label over 20 years ago. It looks similar to the G10 but is made of solid brazilian rosewood back and sides, spruce top, ebony fretboard and brazilian bridge and tuning gear keys Anybody know what model this is and when they were made? Much appreciated.

Hello, I have a Goya M-22 which just got badly damaged the other day...long story. Anyway, I can take some photos of it if you like.
Also, do you know who could repair these?
Steve in Michigan

Re: 1958 Goya m-22

Try going to goyaguitars.tripod.com and leaving Jack Walsh a request. On his goya owners subpage, one of the listed parties owns one of these. Jack may be able to put you in touch with him to get your pictures.
Good Luck.

Goya GA430

I was given a Goya as my first guitar. It bares the serial number GA430 and thus far I haven't been able to find out anything about it. I imagine that it isn't anything too special but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about its country of origin, construction, materials, year number, etc.? If so, please send me an email. I've been unable to find the information on my own.

Thanks,

Matt

Goya Model 1207 Bass

Anybody know anything definitive about this bass guitar? Value, etc? I am pretty sure that it is circa 1967 and in good shape with the original case.

Thanks,

Goya G 318C estimate?

I purchaced a goya G 318C in '96. the conidtion is still excellent. The travel from the strings to the fret board is a bit high, so it makes it awkward to to bar coards. Im not too sure the year, but i was wondrin how much this guitar might be able to sell for?

Goya F-12

I have recently acquired a Goya acoustic guitar with a serial number 2013. The model # is F-12 and it is written in pencil on the label. It also states that it was made in Sweden, distributed by "Goya Music NY, NY 10010". It also says that it was "Inspected by G.H.". I am looking to date my guitar. Can you help?

Re: Goya F-12

The medalist was made in 1974 by martin guitar company
in Korea. In 1970's Goya was sold to martin and moved all production to korea and china. I think thats about all I can remeber

G oya classical 1924 (?)

I have what I think is an older Goya classical guitar. The model number is G.G.7 and the serial number is 53970. Any idea what it is worth? Where was it made?

Another G-17 question

I've got a G-17 Ser. #147819 and after reading the other posts all I have learned is that it's late 50's-early 60's. Is there any other info available? I still love this old friend. Bought in late 70's from a friend of a friend. Still had original receipt for $200 in the case. I've appreciate any info.

My Goya G-17 Classcal

Anyone know what my old Goya G-17 Serial # 4040010 is worth? Also, on the bottom of the label it says, Goya Music, New York, NY 10010, Made in Sweden. Gotta be worth something!

goya M-26

I,ve recently come upon a goya m-26, I found the m-24 in old catalogues but no m-26. It seems to be 1958 with a metal, enameled trussrod cover that says Levin. Anybody? Dave.
