  3. Polytone
    Jeff Doty

I’ve picked up a Polytone amp and would like to try and find out more info on it…ie. when it was made, and any specs available. All I have at the moment is:

    Model Mini-Brute III/IV/V/M-PA
    120/220 volts 50/60 Hz
    160 watts [90]
    S/N P-10591 [P-4414]
    Fuse no. 2 amp. Slo-blo

I find info on the net regarding IIIs, IVs and Vs, but I’m not sure what the III/IV/V means on the amp I have.

    Thank you for your time!

  4. Guitar sale.
    Ted Ludwig

    Dear Glenn Murch,
I am a happy owner of three 7 string archtop guitars made by Jimmy Foster. He is currently building me a semihollow body 7 string. So I need to unload one of the guitars. This particular guitar is Foster’s Crescent City model guitar. It is in terrific shape and features a solid spruce top with mahogany back, sides, and neck. It also has a 17" body width, a 2 7/8" body depth, and a 25.5" scale. I purchased this guitar new in May of 1999 and it now retails at $4750.00. I would be happy to get $3000 for the guitar because that is what I owe for the semihollow body. I am E-mailing you to find out if you would be interested in helping me to move this guitar for a commission. I do not know what your comission charge is. Would you please return my E-mail to tell me your comission charge, and if you are interested in helping me with the guitar?
