Hi, Mike’s v’s were painted over original pickguards. The first was done by Jol at Hamer and subsequently all were by workers there. See the originals he sold. They are all ove the web. paint is worn off in the usual places. There is a co. in japan that sells them but 80 bucks!

I found some AWESOME diamond plate ones at http://www.sharp-concepts.com/Order%20Form%201.htm . I found this site as I’m looking for cool V pickguards myself. And I just realized that unless this is e-mailed to ya, you’ll never see it, because your post is so old, lol. Oh well. Maybe someone else will find this info helpful.
