Silvertone or Epiphone SG-style

Is silvertone that much crappier than epiphone? cuz i don't have a lot of money....and i want to buy my first eletric....been looking at silvertone and epiphone SG styles and can get a silvertone package with an SG style for 200...epiphone G310 are 200 alone....any suggestions? thanks for your help

you shold get the epiphone special pack its better than the silvertone and the same price

i have just brought a silvertone sg style ( angus young fan) i wont pay more then 500 for a guitar and this was 499 so i'm happy with it. great sound and its worth it!

My advice: get a Fender Mexican Strat or Tele, or alternatively get a squire
