I was wondering if you ever got the worth of your guitar, my son was just given one and we were just wondering.: : My guitar is dated 1-3-75 , model # 5047.It is mahogany I think, on the back and sides with a dark blond wood on the top.I bought it new in Houston. Can anyone tell me an approximate worth? I would like to buy an Alvarez with an auto tuner in it. Please e-mail me if you have any info. Thanks! Dawna the real value of a guitar is its sound. I don't know about yours but mine makes sound that makes the most expensive guitar makers lick thier lips. It is also about as old as yours and is the most prized of my four guitars. Kerry.
