    Hi, I am looking for a collaboratin with Israel guitar orchestras or ensembles. I myself am conductor of the youth guitar orchestra of Baden Württemberg http://www.jgo-bw.de in Germany. We are interested to do a concert tour to Israel in 2023. Can anybody give me contacts?

  4. looking to buy a guitar when in Israel

    Hi there
    i am going to be in Israel for a year, but don’t want to bring my guitar with me ( already carrying my violin, which i play professionally)
    Is there a store in Israel where i could pick up a Yamaha C40? This would do me fine for the year
    Any idea of the price of them in israel? Here in Canada they cost $150.

      I did a quick search for Yamaha guitar distributors and found a listing for Israel.

      I had a Yamaha C40 which now hangs on the wall of my dad’s house. I learned classical guitar and really did a lot of woodshed on it. It’s a really nice sturdy guitar, I did have to return the first one to the store because of a problem with the bridge, but the 2nd one was a charm.

    I have over 35 video tapes (mainly 3 or 4 hours each) that contain rare and classic jazz (mainly guitar) and flamenco. This collection was collected over 15 years from all over the world, including purchases at auctions and from private collectors.

    I would be pleased to give the collection to anyone who would be prepared to convert them all to DVD format and send me a copy of the DVDs.

    Of course I would pay for all the DVDs that would be sent back to me, including postage.

      I am also trying to find luthiers in israel, fot a different reason, but they seem to be few and far between.
      I am an english maker of classical and acoustic guitars, mandolins and other related instruments. All my instruments are unique and made to proffessional standard using quality woods, traditional methods and hand tools.
      My wife is Israeli and we have a small son and so we are moving to Israel in september to spend time with the family there. I am hoping to continue making instruments in Israel. Hopefully this may be of some interest to you. You can contact me by e’mail or by post at:

        Greetings from the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont,

        We are pleased to offer for sale Old growth and New growth wood. The old growth wood is from the lake bottoms (see timelesstimber.com for the process, we use essentially the same) maple (straight, curley, burled etc.), birch (flamed, wavey, stained, regular), beech and other wood. New growth wood includes essentially all of the New England species.

          i’m Udi, 23 y/o from israel with guitar construction backround.
          i build mostly acoustic and electric guitars, however i m currently traveling in south america so i might not be able to be of any help to any of you.
          i am planning on building some guitars from exotic woods while in south america.
