W. Marston large acoustic guitar.

Hi, About 20 years ago I acquired a blond W. Marston acoustic guitar with fancy finger board markings (a old mans head between the nut and the first fret. This guitar needs some repair and I wondered if this is one that you manufactured and if so guide me to some help. Thank you in advance, gary

Rocking horse

I have acquired a wooden rocking horse with a plate on it. The name is walt Marston, Jackson NH, #147. Can you tell me more about it and if you are the person who carved it?
Thanks!

Update!

Hi,
The person who carved your rocking horse is the same Walt Marston that builds guitars and gunleather! If you could send pictures of your rocking horse, he can qualify when it was built and what grouping it was in. He has always been a 'one-man show' so if you have one of his rocking animals it is truly worth it's weight in gold.
His current love is working with leather and natural-shed antler and bone to make gun holsters and gun grips! www.marstongunleather.com and while he doesn't currently have a site up for the guitars we have been thinking of posting a site with as many of his pieces as we have from pictures sent to us as well as new projects his is working on!
thanks for your interest!
Pam

rocking moose

Hi, I also have a Walt Marston rocking moose (#328) which was given to me when i was born in 1986. I am interested in selling it but i can't find any record online of one being sold recently and I have no idea of its value. My mother said that her aunt paid around $900 for it in '86. if you have any info or advise that could help me with its value I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!

Hello,
If you would send pictures to the email above I will be happy to tell you about what you have and when it was born.
If you'd like to see what I do in 2012 go to www.marstongunleather.com guitar players will recognize the inlay work which I brought with me to the world of gun grip making :)
regards,
Walt

Still have my guitar.

Did you used to live in NH? If so I still have the accoustic guitar although I don't play anymore.

OLD FRIEND

I'm still telling people how great your talent is. Are you still playing? I 'm in four bands. Every once in a while one of them gigs.

bass and guitar

I have owned a Marston bass for about ten years that I bought from Curt Walsh who I took lessons from. I just recently received a Les Paul shaped Marston guitar and would like to get some information on it. Will send photos soon.
