Hi there..
I have a Zoom 9030 effects processor, which appears to have developed
a fault. The unit powers up ok, and display/menus all work fine, but
there is no input signal (through either the front or rear input
sockets) and hence no sound output. The Signal Leds on the front
panel does not light, which makes me think this is an input rarther
than output problem.
Any ideas? are there any fuses on the input circuit ?
does anyone have a circuit diagram for this unit?
Any help would be apreciated..

i don't have a circuit but his may be worth looking at
there is an analog board above the main board on the left as you look at the front of the unit.
this is connected to the main board via two sets of vetical pins. as this board is screwed down fairly firmly it is unlikely that these have become disconnected, however the pins may have cracked their solder joints where they connect to the main board.
good luck

I had the same problem and it was just bad contact between the input jack and the board. If you have a soldering iron, you can easily fix it on your own.
