    Hi everyone, good day to all.

    I’d like to ask help from anyone who has a schematic diagram of a Zoom 707II, as mine has conked out on me, seems to be a voltage regulator issue as it works properly when I reduce the voltage of the power supply but the lights and the display acts weird when on 9 volts or runs on the 6 volt batteries.

      Hi in regards to the GFX5 patches, have you tried dowloading patches for the Ggfx8 as the gfx5 is really just a cut down version of this pedal this website may help as i have used some of these settings to great effect{pardon the pun}

    My 9030 has a wrecked controller (# 2, right corner) so that I´m not able to edit a few parameter. Does anybody know where I can get such a potentiometer (ALPS)?

  15. Zoom 3030 will not power up

    I need some help. I have had my Zoom 3030 since ’97 and now I am at a delima. It will not power up. I have replaced the ac jack already with no luck. Anyone else have similar problems or maybe know what I should do to fix my 3030? Thanks

      Your plug on the 3030 is ovously bad! here’s the fix, I did it on mine and it worked! Buy a soldering iron and some solder and take the power plug off from the circuit board. buy a new acadapter plug that is the right size for the ac adaptor, and then solder it with some wires. then mount it with some screws on the unit itself, easy fix!

      I’ve got the same problem. Had it since ’97 and now it wont power up. Im sure the powersupply is good. I’ve got some great memories with this thing and I really dont want to trash it. I’d love to hear some idea’s as to what I could do…

    My zoom 9000 comes on, but there’s no sound coming out of it. Any suggestions as to where I could get it repaired, or what’s wrong with it. Please help? Thanks.

      Mine does this too, you probably need to open it and replace the little lithium battery. It’s soldered on which is a pain. I *think* it’s a CR2032 but I might be wrong… email me back if you find out.

      : My zoom 9000 comes on, but the Power light Blinks as if there’s and error. I plug a jack into the in/power and get no sound (IE: Guitar). I can mix in with another instrument and here it, but I can’t hear the Main instrument plugged inot In/Power. I need the schematic so I can do some troubleshooting.

    I have to flatten the eq & not use any active
    boost on the Kubicki or it tends to get thick
    and muddy but these settings sound real great
    when I switch to my Fender MB-5 with EMG sel.

    Of course, if you change bass, amp or speaker,
    you will want to tweak the amp#,eq, & level to
    maximize your tone. You can spend the buck$$$
    to try and imitate someone’s rig and sound,but
    It makes more sen$e to buy what YOURE drawn to
    and then work with it to get the best sound &
    tone you can out of that: YOUR sound!

          It’s not about that,dump asss, it’s about EFFECTS. You can do alot more if you have special sound effects on your guitar.Anyways…i have my Zoom 505II pedal now for a couple of years and the sound is getting kinda old…I like the pedal very much but I just need a good distortion preset if anyone got any writen down…I spend hours on my pedal and just cant seem to get i nice one.

    can anyone help? i recently had to remove the backing plate from my effects pedal, problem is the relocation of several small springs between circuit board and back plate.
    since reassembly, i get more static and i am concerned that i have botched up the location of these springs.

      I have the same problem, a smok’in resister! Did you ever find a source for the schematic or the value of the resistor? I’m guessing it’s a 1/4 watt resistor and if you subsitute a 1/2 watt of the same value it should cure the problem.

        Hey people, i fix zoom pedals in less than 2 minutes.

        The value of the resistance is:

        Gray zoom: 220 ohms +-5% tolerance
        Silver zoom: 220 ohms +-5% tolerance
        newer silver zoom: 100 ohms +-5% tolerance

        Right now i have a little challenge, the "29m33" transistor just blow up and made a little melt-down inside the pedal.

        So does anyone have the schematic??

          :I have exactly the same problem with the zoom 606. I guess the value of the resistor will be more or less the same. The 29m33 transistor could also be damaged but I’ll first try just the resistor. Thanks for the help

      I am probably doing this wrong. But I am taking a shot. I have been trying to get the schematic for my Zoom 9000 effects but even the company won’t help me out. After a year and a half I am getting quite frustrated. I love my effects and I miss my effects. I need my effects. Please someone help me!!

  39. Zoom 9000 Trouble

    My Zoom 9000 is behaving a little strange. You can switch it on, set it, use it and all; but when you switch it off, you won’t be able re-using it for about an hour. It just doesn’t want to switch on again. Anyway, it is fully operational, it even holds your memories. Zoom assistance said it isn’t worth repairing, but I’m a son of a gun…

  42. my zoom 9000's dead. help!

    I tried to start up my 9000 last night, and it doesn’t even get powered up at all. I tried both ac adapter and batteries, to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas what’s wrong with my zoom? Thanks in advance

      : I just had the same proble. It comes probably because of dont use it enought. If you tried to put brand new battery, and let it rest for a while, after that just plug a jack, and wait a while again. It while be alive again…

    Can anyone tell me the milliamperage(mA) of the Zoom 9000 adapter? Also, I’m trying to find a PDF of the manual for this unit. Been to the Zoom site and the manuals only go to the 8080 model.

      Hi robin,

      i use a normal AC adapter with 7.5V and 300mA max. no problem with that. didn’t burn it 😉
