Kayla, most guitars are made of bass wood. It is a soft, yet hard wood. Soft as in great to work with. You can have a custom guitar built of just about any type of wood you want. I, in my opinion, would like to have a cherry, or a walnut custom bass. I have seen a pic. before, and are they beauties! Thanks for letting me answer your ? !
