Hello Dean, I've owned a P caballero guitar for some 10 years now and it dose seem to be improving with age both in tone and in volume, unfortunately I don't know anything about the maker...I bought it from Kings music shop in Fleet Hants, They may be of some help.

I think the real name of this builder is José Rodrigues.
