I have a Global Bass and I love it. My parents gave it to me in the late seventies for christmas. It was bought out of the J.C. Penny catalogue. My friend liked it so much he used it some while he lived in Nashville in the studio. It may have been bottom of the barrel dept. store but it is one of those thing that happen to be more than what you pay for. Mine cost $89.00 also.
