I am looking to find an 86 to 89 or so ultra v (THE MODEL WITH 3 TUNERS ON EACH SIDE OF THE HEADSTOCK,GRAPHITE NUT,SINGLE FINGER NUT RELEASE,NECK-THRU BODY AND KAHLER PRO. WHITE WOULD BE IDEAL BUT COLOR NOT REALLY AN ISSUE.)

DC-150 '79 or '80
Could anyone help me identify what year my Carvin DC-150 was made in? The serial is 07075. It's black with the dual outputs, three way pickup selector and triple coil selectors. There's two volume knobs and a tone to boot. I'm pretty sure it's either a '79 or '80, but can't figure out how to find out as they're almost identicle.

Sorry for screwing up the first post. I think you have at least a 1980. I have a 79 which only differs in the type of tone/volume controls. I think Carvin started using the ones you have in 1980. Are these nice guitars or what?

Carvin DC-127T
I bought a new Carvin DC127T a few months ago. I am very pleased with the construction, finish and sound. All are first rate. The neck is very fast, and it's a joy to play.

hi ive heared that the carvin are one of the best guitars. i jus need a good electric guitar. a low priced one not much xpensive, which should include the whole pakage.

I am looking for a Carvin 6 - 12 doubleneck guitar. I had one in the early 80's, but ended up selling it because I needed money. I would prefer a Koa model, but will consider all.
I have had a carvin guitar (DC127?) for 23 years and it is the best playing guitar I've run accross. Not quite as good tonal quality as my PRS, but it outplays the PRS bigtime!

I have a 6/12 Carvin in pearl white in drop dead mint condition. I go thru phases of considering selling it because I have way too many guitars to give them the attention they all deserve. I then play it and re-discover what a killer axe it is. The only doubleneck I've EVER played that is better is an American BC Rich Bich double. I'd consider selling it if the price was right.

I got a carvin 12/6 here with black hardware, ebony fretboards, kehler trem on the six, stop on the twelve and it has a supe flame maple top (thick) and sunburst finish, give me an email if still lookin. I sell cheap.
