I have a CJ 818 Jumbo Acouistic,Serial #809200Acustis Bought in early 70s. and also a Pearl Acustic FF770, # 100981, Bought in middle 70 also, in Gadsden Alabama,The Pearl Guitar was made by the Pearl Music Co. in Japan. ( Which also made the Pearl Drums, Guitar has a set of 'Grover" tunings nuts. stamped with "Pat.Pending made in USA" stamped on them. which puts them in the middle 60. before Grover was granted a full patent on their Patent. Any one out there know any thing about the Pearl Guitars? ..I would like to know more about them..I also have a Martin D16..Love and play them all.""
