I found the Seagull & Simon&Patrick lines to be probably the best low-price range value, and have been VERY impressed with Larrivee and Tacoma. Frankly, I didn't think you could get a better value - sound, playability and reasonable price - until I played an American Acoustech walnut last week. INCREDIBLE value - blew away anything close. Simple but beautiful craftsmanship, deep, balanced tone, and including a hardshell case for $800. Everyone - if you are near a dealer (check their website - americanacoustech.com) go play one!
