Hi Ruby, i am the daughter of the late Norman Wood who made your guitar and i am really happy to hear you value it so much. Norman also made a mandolin with a similar structure which he lovingly played as often as his guitar. i am now the proud owner of this instrument

Emerador Acoustic

I won this guitar a few years back and have been trying to figure out what it is. I don't know much. No serial number and say handmade in side on a golden sticker with a crown on it. On the headstock there is a wild cats head with a crown as the handle to a sword. The pick guard isn't round and has a small butterfly one large vine and two smaller ones with the looks of flowers this design is in gold. It has this little hole thing in it that I was told is where you could hook it up to an amp. If you have any information that'd be great.

Thanks for your time.

my emperador guitar

I'm trying to find some info on my first guitar, which I still have. It's an Emperador acoustic/electric. It doesn't have any model details on it that I can see. It is sunburst in colour, f sound holes, has double humbuckers and 2 tone 2 volume controls. The sticker on the back says made in japan. I was given this guitar approx 35 years ago by my parents, it requires work to get it playing again. As a guitar teacher, this guitar holds great sentimental value to me and I was hoping to get it working again. My mother seems to remember paying $150 australian dollars for the guitar. Thank you.

Re: my emperador guitar

Re: my emperador guitar

L'autocollant à l'arrière «Made in japan. Merci.
