Re: Emperador guitar

Hi, just picked up an Emperador model 57-12801. This is a Gibson dove copy, except it has bluebirds on a grapevine. It's black with split rectangular neck inlays. I got it on ebay cheap, my best gamble. Most people look for the old Japanese ones, well this one is Korean. But I'll tell you,this one has great quality. The white on the birds on the pickguard looks like real mother of pearl. The sound is great a 9 out 10,rich and full not empty or hollow like a lot of the early Korean stuff. I would probally given it a 10 for sound, but I have a Tokai cats eye which edges it out,but I think that guitar would compete with almost anything. This Emperador is a real headturner everyone loves.
