i have a '67 celebrity 3 bass, wondering if anyone can tell me how the bass body and neck were originally connected. it has a 3 screw configuration, with inset holes in the body, the 2 top holes are approx. 1/2" deep and the bottom hole is inset approx. 3/4".wondering if ferrules were used in the body. any help with this connection, as far as size/length of screws would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!!

Hi, They used metal grommets for each screw rather than the standard peanut-shaped neck plate. There are some of these now on auction on Ebay, along with a toggle switch tip and strap pins.: i have a '67 celebrity 3 bass, wondering if anyone can tell me how the bass body and neck were originally connected. it has a 3 screw configuration, with inset holes in the body, the 2 top holes are approx. 1/2" deep and the bottom hole is inset approx. 3/4".wondering if ferrules were used in the body. any help with this connection, as far as size/length of screws would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!!
