Parker Guitars

Ken Parker’s goal has always been to create the most versatile, responsive, dependable, and beautiful instruments possible. Developing the Fly guitar was a painstaking ten-year process, and along the way he and his colleagues discovered a whole new approach to crafting guitars.

The third fret on he high "E" side of my Parker Fly Classic has de-bonded from the neck – it is starting to peel back about 1/3 the way across the neck (vertically up from the bottom) and is starting to cause a buzz when I play notes on the high "E" from the 3rd fret to the nut.

  2. P-38 peizo trouble

I purchased a P-38 from e-bay and overall the axe is pretty great for the money (345.00)however I seem to have a few of the problems that I’ve read about with these guitars. The biggest is the low E peizo buzzing. It stops if I yank on the string but starts again when I play the string again. Any ideas how to over come this? Sounds great when it’s not buzzing. Also the magnetic pick-ups sound a bit weak, that is I would like a more stratty sound but it’s just not there.
Any feedback(no pun intended) would be helpful.

What you can try, is putting smaller gauge strings on to get rid of the buzzing, and my pickups are the same way and i dont know how to make them stronger.

Recently bought a P38, I find the pickups are a bit thin and weedy.
    Anyone changed theirs already
Or any ideas for improving the sound.

You should check out edromanguitars.com for info on having some Seymour Duncans installed. He also has the stock DiMarzios on hand for short dough. The DiMarzios are better than the stock pups on the P38’s. OOPS just noticed the date of your post.

I got a Parker P-38 4 my b-day. The sound is fabulous with having the electric/accoustic sound. The shape of this fabulous sounding guitar’s shape molds to my body in a comfortable way. It is also very nice having a stereo type guitar. I love it!!!!
