Re: Epiphone Zak Wilde

: My son accidently dropped his Zak Wilde Epiphone on a concrete floor. He is devastated as it took a good size chip out of the back side of the guitar. Is there anyway to repair this so it's not so noticable. He's only 17 years old and has worked hard to pay off this guitar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you

I would think a good wood filler would do, then use a fine 300 grit sandpaper, prime it (the better quality primer you use, the better it will be) then a decent nitrocellulose paint and laquer. this is the way i fix guitars. i have done it several times and have always been satisfied with the results.
