Dana Bourgeois’ guitars are widely recognized as individual masterpieces of the art, science and magic of lutherie, and for those of you who are wondering, yes they originally traded under the name ‘Pantheon Guitars’.

Spanning a quarter of a century, Dana’s guitarmaking career has included custom building, repair, design, teaching, consulting, and manufacturing.

In that time he has worked in various associations with C.F. Martin, Schoenberg, Gibson, Paul Reed Smith and Washburn, and is best known as founder of Dana Bourgeois Guitars.

Dana has also achieved wide recognition as a leading authority on tone production. His articles on the subjects of voicing, tonewood selection and a variety of other subjects are widely circulated among builders and guitarists alike.

    i just closed a deal to buy a NAMM guitar for $8000 from a dealer. The dealer was then contacted by Partheon guitars and told to add $1900 to the price. Does anyone know anything about the reputation of Bourgeois gutars? this practice seems unethical
