I know the bk stands for black. I have searched the internet, and can't seem to find anything. I called Gibson because someone said they thought that Gibson guitars had a "knock off" that was produced by them called the "Memphis". Gibson said- no, not one of ours-Memphis is their own brand. Please help me find something for this guitar.

I'm faced with the same problem. My dad bought me the same guitar over a decade ago, and he can't remember where he got it. Have you tried asking the store or site you got it from? Or have you since found out about it since this 2004 posting here?
