Custom Guitars Hand Crafted by Peter Brown
After searching the internet for a knowledgable luthier, I brought my Martin M-38 in to Pete to have new Waverly tuners installed. Pete not only did a great job but he did it while I waited, respectful of the fact I traveled about an hour to his shop, which I truly appreciated. Pete was very thorough and his attention to every detail was evident in how he took his time and was careful throughout the process to make certain my guitar was treated gingerly. He also took the time to teach me a new more efficient way to restring my guitar, oiled both my fretboard and bridge, when I told him the bridge was a little too light for my taste. Pete also took the time to adjust the truss rod and did all of this for an extremely reasonable price. While I thought my M-38 played well before, it feels like an entirely new instrument now. I will most definitely return to Pete for any necessary guitar work in the future and would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my musician friends.
Peter has worked on many of my Martins . I perform at country clubs and restaurants.
Sometimes I need to have guitar fixed sooner than later. Peter always comes through. He sets the action exactly right every time ! Besides his great Luther skills , he is just a very pleasant guy to deal with.
As a customer for over 4 years, I can say without a doubt that Pete does quality work. Have had about 10 setups, fretdress, switch repairs, pickup repairs, and probobly more and have always been satisfied. Prices are fair and everytime I get my guitar back its even better then when I first bought.
Hi-
i have an Ibanez acoustic I bought for my daughter and unfortunately the guitar’s headstock cracked from falling over. Is this something worth repairing? I originally paid 340.00 for this guitar on sale.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Don,
My boyfriend’s 110 Taylor guitar has a crack on the neck from a slight accident. Is this something that can be repaired? I have photos of the guitar injury 🙁 If you would like to see them, I can email it to you? I would love to fix this for him, but I would like to know if it’s repairable and that it would not cost me a arm and a leg since this is the guitar I purchased for him and it wasnt cheap. Please advise.
Sorry I should have wrote HI PETER! NOT DON?
