I had Bob evaluate my SWR cab for a bad horn. He was honest--nothing wrong there--and gave me tips on my tone that I'm using today. He made a rugged cable for the bass/cab connection that made for greater output. Best of all, he helped me get a guitar monitor working. He used an innovative idea to lower the impedence and researched the internet on an obscure make of amplifier. I can finally hear the guitar over my bass and the drummer. My only criticism was that he charged too little!

Bob Capretto is an excellent person to handle your guitar if you are in need of a set-up, nut replacement, electronic work, pickup replacements, etc. What sets Bob apart from others is that his first priority is to discover more about you and then apply that knowledge to the guitar. Everyone knows that set-ups are subjective and vary from person to person, but Bob makes it his business to find out what would best suit you. He listens first and then proceeds to go to work. I would definitely take my guitar back to him. Highly recommended.

I blew one of our main P.A. speakers. At least I thought I did. I thought I was going to have to replace it. Roc instruments informed me that it was just a crossover and it was not a big expense. I was relieved and grateful for the honesty. The service was good and timely and our main is up and running again. Also had a pickup put in my guitar and also had good luck wih that. I plan to use them to put a pickup in my other guitar soon.

Hey this guy Bob is great.Almost too good for him to make abuck. He reassembled a 1 step from firewood jap strat for me and included some killer flame graphics under a laquer finish replace some parts and did a little hotrod stuff for $400. Basically I got a custom for 4bills.
Oh yeah Iforgot about the fret recrown.
You just have to be in northern cali to get this kind of service
