Les Paul actually 'made' the first electric. Leo was the first to mass produce 'his' version of it. Totally based on Les Paul's handmade design of the solid body. Apart from that. Gibson made electric hollow-bodies WAYYYY before Leo got started. Sorry but dist was right.
