maybe you should get your shit straight. the electric pickup was around in one form or another before the turn of the century, long before the telecaster. rickenbacker's frying pan was out in the thirties and les paul's log in the fourties. fender didnt have a real electric electric the 50s. gibson had the first patent in the early thirties. oh and his real name was lester polsfuss. dumpass?
