Is les paul still alive?

Hi,my great grandfather was very good friends with les paul and i was curious if he was still alive. I f someone could e-mail me in would be appricianed. Thanx

I was told today that he is, still does a regular gig somewhere in New York City ... I guess he'd be about 95, but apparently he's still pickin'

I know for a fact he's still alive(he's about 85) and living in Jersey somewhere..He also still plays local clubs, with friends, and is collecting the "Les Paul Recording" guitars(from the 1970's) on his travels. More I can't tell ya, 'cause I don't know. I'd love to meet the guy and jam. mike loce.

LP is alive and well. He performs every Monday night (2 shows) at the Iridium Jazz Club in NYC. I got to see and meet him last night. I got him to sign my 1971 LP Deluxe Gold-Top! He can't play as much as he used to, but is still a wonder to watch. He's also a very funny guy - he busts everyones balls!

Let me reply a year and a half after your post. He lives in Mahwah, NJ. Address any mail to "Les Paul, Mahwah, NJ", and he'll get it.
