Hello.

I have come across a LP personal in a shop in oslo. I have a number of questions about this, and the internet isn't exactly full of information about this guitar. None of my friends in norway seem to know anything about it.

The first concern is the price they want at the shop. I think it is from 1971 and it looks really worn (that's ok, as long as it's on the outside). It is priced at 12000 Norwegian Kroner, which translates to about 1850 US dollars. I know that seems a lot, but guitars are expensive here, in comparison a new LP studio cost 14000 = 2150 USD.

Is 1850 USD for a LP personal a rip off?

I don't know if the electronics are all out order, I see that this has been a recurring subject on this forum... Is it possible now to get a manual and/or drawings of electronics so that i can get someone to help me restore it if i need to?

I realize that some people might say that i am stupid to even consider buying this guitar. But i tried it a little bit, and it somehow catched my interest.

I would appriciate any help, by email if you want to.

Best regards,
Lars, Norway
