: Really GUYS!! Why chew up a les Paul Low-Impedance Model, just because you can't understand it?? The Low-Impedance guts inside it AREN'T outdated as you say. That just shows your ignorance. The Lo-Imp wiring allows the Les Paul Personal/Recording Model/Signature to sound very much like any other guitar...and do it quetly...AND allows you to play straight into a recording board and sound amazing. As far as the Les Paul Lo-Imp with newer electronics installed is concerned, I'm saddended to hear that it was raped and stuffed with Hi-Imp guts. That's a shame, because you will never really be able to hear what the Lo-Imp Paul can do. I suspect that you wouldn't even be able to tell what it can do even if you HADN'T replaced the lo-imp guts with newer Hi-Imp wiring. Very sad. Oh well.<
