All AW Custom Guitars are handcrafted by me, Andrew Wright, utilizing the finest materials available. I built my first guitar in 1996 with no intent of starting a business; being a player myself, I just wanted a higher quality instrument. The resulting guitar was an overwhelming success and within a few weeks of its completion I was asked to build another one for a friend of mine. Shortly after beginning my second instrument I received an order for a third and AW Custom Guitars was born.
I realized after building my first guitar that I have an inherent knack for the craft, but I do not take this for granted. I personally consult with all my customers, sometimes rather extensively, in order to clearly ascertain their conception of the “perfect instrument.” It is my dedication and attention to detail that assures each customer that their instrument will be the finest available. It is my goal to provide each customer with an instrument that matches his or her ideals, tonally as well as visually.
