Darwin International Guitar Festival

It is with much pleasure that the Festival welcomes back to Darwin World renowned guitarist John Williams. A special feature of his visit will be a workshop on the art of transcription and a fascinating insight into his recent transcription of Schubert's Arpeggione sonata.

Making their first visit to Australia for the Festival will be brilliant American virtuoso David Tanenbaum, leading Early Music specialist and lutenist James Tyler and the innovative composer and performer, Argentinian Maximo Diego Pujol.

The Festival will conclude with a spectacular concert under the stars with John Williams and the Darwin Symphony Orchestra at Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort.
