The Darwin International Guitar Festival is a biennial festival celebrating the classical guitar masters of the World. The Fourth Darwin International Guitar Festival will be held in Darwin, Australia's exotic tropical capital, from June 30 July 10, 1999. The Festival will feature an exciting series of concerts by leading international and Australian performers. The concert series will be complimented by a wide range of informative masterclasses, workshops and lectures.
It is with much pleasure that the Festival welcomes back to Darwin World renowned guitarist John Williams. A special feature of his visit will be a workshop on the art of transcription and a fascinating insight into his recent transcription of Schubert's Arpeggione sonata.
Making their first visit to Australia for the Festival will be brilliant American virtuoso David Tanenbaum, leading Early Music specialist and lutenist James Tyler and the innovative composer and performer, Argentinian Maximo Diego Pujol.
The Festival will conclude with a spectacular concert under the stars with John Williams and the Darwin Symphony Orchestra at Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort. Observers and players are now invited to register for this very special Australian musical event. This year's Festival is set to be a memorable occasion not to be missed by lovers of fine music and guitar enthusiasts alike.

Hey I can help you if you have not found any answers, I am a collector of Bently guitars.. theses guitars were more common in the early 80's from the St. Louis music company. the first productions were u.s.a, than the company out-soursed to Korea. although they are a low range guitar I do collect some overseas models. the series 10 brand had 2 logos one being a small series and a large 10 on the head stock, the later Korean models had a logo that the S' looked like the band Kiss. (not very collectable). I would be interested in the guitar if you can provide me a photo and a serail number on the neckplate on the back. I hope you still have the guitar as it might be one I am looking for! thanks for yout time.. Bill

I have a couple of Series 10 guitars that i got about 14 years ago. They were made by a company called Bentley Guitars. I remember seeing them for sale used ranging from $80 to $250 or so back then. The company has been bought out or changed its name (can't remember what it is called today). They make pretty straight laced guitars now (Les Paul, Strat, PRS body styles) but when they were Series 10 they made some cool more radical styled guitars (two of the ones I have are different explorer/scarab type body styles).
If you're interested in selling yours I would watch ebay. You can typically find them for sale there and this will give you an idea of what they're going for.
