First I'm sorry for my english.

It's one "Traditional". I have one and now that guitars are not it's neck made with "birdseye maple", only with maple.
You should know too that Knopfler used to use Seymour Duncan pickups in his Schecter guitars. I don't know if he used any original pickups (normally Schecter Monstertone pickup). Anyway Seymour Duncan is always a good choice.

Mark Knopfler has never used Schecter monstertone pickups.
His Schecter pickups pre date monstertone.
