Am presently on a world-wide search for either a Harptone Lark or Harptone Bagladesh acoustic guitar. These were made somewhere in New Jersey in the 1970s. I had one stolen from a studio and am very eager to replace it somehow. I would appreciate your help in any way. Thanks, Michael O'Connell.

I have access to a harptone - Model No. E-6NC, Serial No. 2715-7. Guitar has arched maple back (quilted) and flame maple sides. Long saddle. Appears that original nut has been replaced??? Guitar has ~ 3" crack in back transition area of arch and also About same size across strap button on bottom. These are minor and have not widened (appear closed). Guitar is worn but appears functional. I have been trying to find out the value for a friend. Any info you could provide would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm looking for a second-hand Strat. Must be black! ... preferably with lacquered fretboard! ... I'm not really demanding!

Re: Purchase of secondhand guitar
I purchased a harptone in 1972, and I'm wondering if anyone could tell me its approx. value. I do not plan to sell it.
