Stevie Ray Vaughan Ride and Concert

One day fund raising event. All proceeds benefit the SRV Memorial Scholarship Fund in Dallas

On August 27th, 1990 the world lost its most beloved blues guitarist - Stevie Ray Vaughan. Today, the SRV Memorial Scholarship Fund helps students pursue their dream in music in the same inner-city Dallas neighborhood where Stevie spent his childhood.

The fund raiser for this scholarship fund - the 10th Annual SRV Remembrance Ride and Concert on October 4, 2004 - will honor Stevie's 50th birthday with Double Trouble and Friends. Food, beverages, and vendors will be on site. There will be several raffles including a unique SRV airbrushed Fender guitar, SRV replica hat and two roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines to anywhere they fly!

The Guitar World website has a link to our site in their V.I.P. Lounge page (www.guitarworld.com). There is also a full page ad in the new issue of Guitar Legends which features Stevie. Thank you!
