Mine's broken too, but maybe you could have a look at yours and tell me where the "hot" wire to the Comp socket comes from on the PCB - just tell me what component(s) share the track.

Here's a few things you should check for:
15-0-15 Vac at the transformer secondary
+25 volts across the smoothing capacitor
check that the LED isn't blown (it's in SERIES with the Vcc line to the rest of the pedal - try shorting it out and see if your pedal comes to life).
