used acoustic guitar neck to make a 6 string banjo (bahjitar)

I am having problems with an experiment in trying my hand making a banjitar (6 string banjo) Do you by chance have an old cheap acoustic where the body is trashed and has a playable necj I cant pick up for near nothing?....I was donated a banjo (with a trashed neck) got the project in my head and since I am medically retired I have time but not much money ( EWhrn they say "FIXED INCOME" They meaned FIXED REALLLL LOW"...I used to pick up cheap parts from a fellow emayer MR.TWISTYNECK, but he's not in the selliong right now, trying to spend more time with the family....I sure understand that.
