What is the deal with checking a guitar when flying on an airplane? Is it the cold in the cargo by that is bad for the guitar? Does the pressure matter? What if I put hand warmers in the case with the guitar or insulated my case? Or If I just didn't open the case for a while after landing so the temp had a chance to change slowly? Is the Tempurature bad for the wood or the strings? or both? Is the neck more sensitive?
