Its definately not Irish Gaelic or any Celtic language.
I am very familar with Irish Gaelic.

To check this, the following can be used to translate
Irish Gaelic words to English,

Anol Shalom means "Now we are free" <== FF : Here I might say that Shalom can be also used as "Peace" so "Now we are at Peace" is a possibility to consider ; Remember the hero dies at the end and gets to his paradise
The lyrics, come from a local North African language,
deriving from the language of the Moors,
& believed to be similar to a local language
once spoken in Ancient Spain, thus it is used
in the film "the Gladsiator", as that is where
the Gladiator is from "i.e. The Spaniard"

Pre-Roman Spain was part of the Moorish empire,
which stretched from North Africa to Spain,
& a language similar to the lyrics of this song,
was once spoken in both parts.

Also, if you listen to the background music,
it does sound very African, with the drums, etc.

Enya, traditionally sings in Irish Gaelic, however,
she does have some songs written in African
languages, comparing Irelands struggle to
protect its Culture & Identity, with that of
Africa. Attempts have been made to play
Traditional Irish Music with African styles,
which is known to work very well indeed

This is one of the most accurate ones I could find. Just use power chords out of the bass note he gives in the tab. I have yet to find a good one which has the FULL version of the song wcomplete with solos. I think I may have to work on it.
