I am thinking about buying a Fender Aerodyne Telecaster and it is advertised as having one "soapbox" pickup as well as the single coil. The picture looks like a humbucker but they use the word soapbox to describe it. What is a "soapbax" pick up.

Soapbox pickups are P-90s. Search the Internet you’ll find tons of info about them. They are kinda between humbuckers and single coils. Lots of people swear by them.
I can’t find ANYTHING on how to wire up a Nuno Bettencourt guitar. Is there any way possible to find anything about that? Thanks for any help that I may get!

: Hey man, i have the same problem, with the same guitar. What u need to do, is solder the black on to the prong on the far right, and the blue one to the middle prong, and then which ever wire comes from the output jack, blue or orange, to the middle prong.
and finally the last one to the far left prong, that one should be a ground wire. Hope that works for ya.
I have a PEAVEY FORUM AX ACTIVE BASS with a broken (the oriiginals are plastic) volume control pot. The wiring on the pot terminals is off, ie: not soldered. I looked in the bass cavity and see 4 wires that looked like they used to be on the pot; 2 are orange, one is black and one is blue. Does anyone know how these relate to the 3 soldering posts on the 10k volume pot? I bought a new pot and wantt o get it working again. Thanks!

.stop turning them as you will break the wire ,pull the knobs of the pots at front and tighten the nut and washer.
volume pots a B500k tone pots A500. if you need to replace these you’ll have to buy pots with extended shafts as some are too small to go threw the top.
I have modification stratocaster in the bridge position with emg active humbucker pickups and up-down tremolo, i don’t have an idea for wiring scheme, is that anyone can help me for that wiring?

I’ve got a later headless Westone and I’m told the Aria’s had the same circuits as they were built in the same factories.
What I’m more concerned about, is did you break the 12 connector switch? And if so where did you get a replacement!!!
