tuning multikord
would like to find a manual for the six string four pedal harlin multikord.am tring to figure out how to set it up for different tunings.all I can come up with changes the pitch higher can not get it to lower pitch.

Hawaiian on a pedal steel
I started playing on an old "Stella" with a raised nut when I was 8. I switched to a regular guitar in the early 60's when the Beatles invaded but picked up a Sho-bud Maverick (1 knee lever - 3 pedals) in the early 70's when I was gigging with a country band.
Unfortunately I packed everything away when the kids came. Last April we moved to SW Florida and when packing up to move I uncovered the old shobud. I have a question that hopefully you can help me with. I want to re-learn and play Hawaiian style. Most things I read say the E9th tuning is primarily for Country. And the C6th or C6/Am tuning is difficult for beginners. I was also thinking of maybe not connecting the pedals and playing this as a 10 string console because another musician told me that playing Hawaiian on a pedal doesn't sound very good. Do you have any suggestions? Any advice you could offer would be very much appreciated.
JJ Steel Guitar
I have seen a pedal steel guitar for sale on Ebay! The only info I have been given is that it has JJ on the front and a serial number on the undercarriage. It looks similar to a Fender in colour.

Please help with my Multi-kord.
I got a Multi-Kord steel pedal for my birthday. And I love her but I can't find any music for her, I do read music, but I'm not sure where to find the correct note on the strings. Ex: where is middle c on the what string, what fret? She has 6 strings, and 4 pedals (which are not hooked up) I don't know how to hook them up. I'm very new to steel pedal. AndI think I need to think about should I keep her or sell her and get smething that is a student one.

8 string 4 pedal multi kord
I have a 8 string 4 pedal Multi Kord Pedal Steel in real good condition with orinial tuning tool and hard case if I was to sell it how much do you think it would bring?

Old Steel
My uncle left me a steel guitar back in the early fifties. I cannot find a brand name on it. Where should I look. It is black and white. The only thing labled is a steel fret slider that has "Nick Manoloff" on one side, and student on the other. It is perfect and in a case. How can I find out about it? Thank you

You probably have some replies by now from Feb. You'd have to submit a pic of the guitar for somebody to identify it. I have one that says "Made in Canada" with a blue ribbon design, but no name!!!! When I was taking Hawaiian guitar lessions in late '40's, Nick Manoloff books and accessories were quite common. I have a Roy Smeck "bullet" bar. Roy was a very popular player and recording artist. If Nick ever recorded anything, I've never seen it. I'm sure he was most popular for his Hawaiian and Spanish guitar methods of learning. I'm one of the many "lap" steel players these days.

I have Nick Manoloff book no. 1 spanish guitar method published by M.M.Cole copyright 1934 and a complete chord and harmony manual for guitar by Nick Manoloff book

I have in my closet a National Steel guitar with good case and legs to attache. It also has the bars in it with Nick Manoloff's name on them. The guitar has a pat number 2480408. Does this mean anything to anyone.

Hi If you type in Nick Manoloff into Google, I'm sure you'll find lots of data about him. I may still have some Nick M. music books. Like Oahu and Bronson, but not as much, Nick had a marketing line of Hawaiian and spanish guitars, books and accessories in the 40's and 50's.
