Del Oro Guitar

I have a Del Oro Guitar that was my grandfathers, I also have a picture of him with this guitar when my cousin and I was about 1 or 2yrs old, I'm now 53, I would like some information about this guitar. I has the boat with two men in it on a canal and I would guess that the city in it would be Italy. The holder on the guitar is made of rope twisted probably was very beautiful back in the day. Del Oro is at the top of the handle. Could someone please give me more information about this guitar??

Del Oro guitars

Who built del Oro guitars? Where are they from? I have one my dad was given in payment for services in the 1940's. He taught my sister's and I to play. It was damaged but a friend of mine tried his best to repair it. It has dice and 4leaf clovers.
