Re: Del Oro GUITAR

I seen the name "Del Oro" on both mandolins and guitars (identical logos on the headstocks). There seems to be a connection with KAY Guitars. In the book "American Guitars, an Illustrated History" by Tom Wheeler there is a color photo of a "Del Oro" and a reference to it being a "Bargain Basement Special" see color photograph #106. KAY was known for their low cost entry level guitars although they did produce some high end axes.

So my guess is you have a KAY marketed as a Del Oro.
