vintage gibson acoustic

I am trying to find out the value of an old gibson guitar, that my mom purchased new 45 years ago, it only has a serial number on it which is 873027. It is brown, with no other identifying numbers. Can anyone help? Thank you!

I have a tobacco brown sunburst 59er and it has been great it needs a new bridge and a pickgaurd but for 30 years old it sounds awesome

Not that you care now but everyone raves about this guitar. I paid approx. $96 second hand for mine which was in great condition.

I think you would be lucky to see $100 - $150 top end for this guitar, it is a beauty and everyone that owns one would undoubtedly agree... Mine has served me like a true champion, it still has that sustain, beautiful at such a good price.

Xander, thanks for the input, I am a little late in following up on my original post from June... busy you know.
Anyhow, I have come to the conclusion the Gemini II is an excellent guitar, stays in tune, as you mention has good sustain, and mine was free. Actually it appears mine has been modified at some point encapsulated machine heads, a pickup, and a new bridge. I have no intention of parting with it.

Its Blue(teal) and Black, almost looks like a rusty burn. One of the Steve Vai airbrushed finished models.. I need a few appraisels granted the condition is in all ways perfect.. Orignal case aswell.

I had my 1969 Contreres valued by a pro at around $3000 in decent condition.

Washburn EC29 or EC36

About 6 years I had one of my favorite guitars stolen from me at a concert I was playing in Corona California. I have been looking to find this guitar or replace it with one that is close to it. It was a White, Washburn EC29, with the EMG looking style pickup. If anyone knows where I can pick one up please let me know. I am willing to pay a nice price for an EC36. thanx.
