B&Btr Sitka Spruce 8/4 thickness good tight vertical grain lengt

,: My business is located in Ketchikan, Alaska and I deal in Sitka Spruce tonewood for $700 a half cord. This wood is from very large Sitka Spruce blow downs that range from 4-8 foot on the butt cut. I do not cut or split any timber that is below 32 inchs across the top of the round. This wood is all AA AAA AAAA and contains no knots and the color in this part of the Pacific Northwest is a real bright white. I do not ship any bolts that the growth lines wonder more then 1/2 inch from the top of the bolt to the bottom. I have been cutting wood products on the West Coast for more then 40 years and know good to excellent wood. This is very good wood. I have been cutting this wood and saling this species for two years and have received no complaints thus far. I just will not send any bad wood to anyone. It stay in the brush. My bolts are anywhere from 16" to 51" depending on the buyer choice. But most is the regular 26". In a half cord shippment there are from 23 to 30 bolts. I pack this wood out on a pack board and have no trouble selling it. I am looking for a few good buyers who want to be regulars buyers with us. I ship this wood to Seattle by way of Boyer Barge and for a half cord the shipping costs to Seattle runs right at $85. The buyer pays the shipping. A half cord of this wood weights right around 1900lbs. It comes to the buyer wrapped in plastic shipping material and it is on two pallets. I seal the ends with Woodlife if the buyer wants it that way. I sell this wood all over the country. I can send you a sample bolt that is very large and one that the buyer can make a very good profit off of. Sample bolts sell for $50 and again the buyer pays the shipping.
