I think you should get one in the price of $900.00 to start off with and you should look for the name brand and the wheight because you don’t want it to heavy!!!!!!

YEAH..i you havent found out already, Epiphone makes a version of the SST for about $400, CLOSE to the real thing the headstock is real ugly NOT an eboiny fret board, less tone controls lower quality woods electrics etc… but HEY its cheap, i have the gibson SST and those go for about $1500 or so and are a REAL pain to get ahold of, hope this helps!!!

There’s no reason you or anyone else should be embarrassed to be seen with one (unless it’s been painted some horrible color).

Epiphone makes outstanding Les Pauls. I won’t call them copies, because Gibson owns Epiphone. You can pick one up for anywhere from $300-$600. They’re worth the money, because you’re basically getting a Gibson for a fraction of the cost. Plus you can get ones with PAF’s or P-90 pickups.
I recently bought a les paul copy. It’s a Monterey stage series and it cost me $450 Aus. It’s got a lovely finish and a sound that tops many of the guitars which cost up to $200 more.
