: I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED AN ACCOUSTIC FROM A LOCAL SECOND HAND SHOP, THIS IS THE ONLY IDENTIFYING MARK ON THE GUITAR, 1 G-101, THIS IS SITUATED IN THE USUAL PLACE IE. IN THE CENTRE OF THE GUITAR. I WAS INFORMED BY THE ASSISSTANT THAT IT WAS MADE IN POLAND. IT IS ALMOST CERTAINLY HAND BUILT AND QUITE OLD. CAN YOU HELP TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT IT? CHEERS.
Sir, I also have a G-101 guitar, and am perplexed by it. I have not been able to obtain any information about it. All I know is that mine doesn't sound like any other guitar that I've ever heard.

Re: POLISH GUITAR?
I bought a g-101 about 15 years ago at a garage sale for $5, not sure what the make is or anything about it, but I have yet to find any information elsewhere. If anyone finds anything about this guitar please pass it on, although from the sounds of it it is just a cheap old guitar.

There is a guitar labeled G-101 on ebay. It says it's made in Taiwan.

I just came across one as well, purchased for $5 from a guy who found it out in his barn some years ago. Overall it's in pretty sad shape, but remarkable in that it has only warped in the top and back (no splitting). I've been looking for some information that might prove helpful, and this thread is the only mention I've seen of the G-101 identifying stamp inside the soundhole.
