Gibson or Gibson look-a-like?????
My mother bought a used guitar in the late 1930's at a Memphis pawn shop. It looks like what is described as a Gibson Jumbo, in starburst design. We and others have looked inside and out for a manufacturer marking...to no avail. What other companies were making a guitar that looked like a Gibson in the early or mid '30's?? Any inof would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Antique Acoustic (1889)
I just received a Benary Classical guitar through relatives cleaning out a house. It has a patent of Jan 26 86. I assume it is 1886. I too would like to find more information on this.
Re: Benary parlor
