I have an old Benary Parlor Guitar. Very solid condition. All original. Hairline crack in side. Any idea what this is worth and best way to sell it???

  2. Gibson or Gibson look-a-like?????

My mother bought a used guitar in the late 1930’s at a Memphis pawn shop. It looks like what is described as a Gibson Jumbo, in starburst design. We and others have looked inside and out for a manufacturer marking…to no avail. What other companies were making a guitar that looked like a Gibson in the early or mid ’30’s?? Any inof would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just received a Benary Classical guitar through relatives cleaning out a house. It has a patent of Jan 26 86. I assume it is 1886. I too would like to find more information on this.

: Was wanting some info: on a Benary parlor guitar. Early 1900’s with a bakalite tail piece. Any idea of it’s value. It’s in great condition.
