I have a Giannini Craviola model CRA 6n. I have had it for at least
20 years. Does anyone have a clue what it is worth in very good condition? If so, can you please email me?
Thank you,
Ronnie

Re: Giannini Craviola

I've had my Giannini Craviola 12-string for 30+ years, and after a recent restoration by a gifted luthier I would value it at a minimum of $300 dollars. I'm not interested in selling it, but a well-preserved Craviola, either 6 or 12-string model, should be worth at least that much to a collector of interesting instruments. The Jay Turser company has obtained the rights from Giannini of Brazil to produce a new version of the Craviola.

In Brazil, you can buy a very good one for US$500,00

Re: Giannini Craviola

Hi Ronnie,
I've had a Giannini craviola since the mid-70s. I haven't got a clue what it's worth now, either, and would love to know. Not many people seem to know about them. I wonder what ever happened to the manufacturer?

At any rate, I would guess it should be worth double to triple of the original cost, depending on when you bought it and what shape it's in (?). I bought mine for CDN $150 in the 70s.
