Just a note of probably little interest, but I played some Wilder amps in the late 60's (?) at a local music store. They seemed to be very well made and were certainly the largest guitar amps in the store. We didn't know much about
turning up an amp back then - I think we used some no-name fuzz box that was shaped like a wedge with two knobs mounted on the front of the wedge and a built in plastic 1/4" cord / plug coming out the side. Never saw these anywhere else. This was about the same time that a little known company in Mississippi called Peavey was making really large amps and speaker cabs ( I think they may even have had a 6X12" cab) and Kustom had made their 'rolled & pleated' cabs.
