Alvarez Dove -70's model

I have been searching extensively for a photo and/or information about an Alvarez guitar I own. It was given to me in 1977. I was told it is an Alvarez Dove -- has a pearl dove in the pick guard and pearl inlay in the neck. I was also told that is has a solid back (don't really know what that means). Can anyone give me the hisory on this guitar or tell me where I can find information on it and a current value? I am running into dead ends. The only thing I found was a small piece about this possibly being a replica for a Gibson Dove and that Gibson sued Alvarez over this guitar...but again, no photos, no other info.

I too have a alvarez dove! It was purcahased in France new It was bought for my son in law at the age of 10. He wasnt interested and it was stored in closet for 28 years in original case. it has amazing sound and is in excellent condition. I have owned it 3 years and have rarely played it. Any interest in buying??
